Job Summary

About Team & About Role:

The Director of Federal Sales will have ownership of all elements of bookings growth within the DOD space. This includes managing a team of 5 Field AEs toward discovering and developing new opportunities managing pipeline executing account strategies and managing customer expansion. The RD will manage a team of sellers calling within the region while working in unison with regional leaders in Sales Engineering Sales Development Channel Development and Rubrik Partners to exceed sales objectives. This position will manage all aspects of the sales process and will play an integral role in the success of the overall sales team.

What Youll Do:

  • Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Rubriks position and opportunities across the territory.
  • Build partner ecosystem and work closely with Focus partners to foster collaboration and opportunity
  • Manages and develops the team of sales representatives including recruiting hiring and enablement of team members.
  • Hands on approach and thought leadership into account strategies and focus
  • Sells and promotes the introduction of Rubrik to Enterprise prospects and provides guidance to the team on strategy sales process and CxO level selling.
  • Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the region and a key member of the Enterprise Management team.
  • Develops and execute a Focus plan to maximize revenue and growth across the region.
  • Drives accurate team forecasting practice in line with management expectations.
  • Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.
  • Assists in the development of short medium and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure region objectives are met.
  • Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations is important.

Experience Youll Need:

  • 10 years of experience in sales management and experience on working on complex
  • Federal experience required along with DOD accounts
  • Relevant domain experience across backup cloud and datacenter environments.
  • Proven track record in a sales-driven organization selling technology-related products and services
  • Solid written verbal and presentation skills
  • Creative with strong problem-solving skills and an ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work well as part of an extended sales team
  • Knowledge of Rubriks specific domain area

Security and Privacy Responsibilities section:

This position carries special Security and Privacy Responsibilities for protecting the U.S. Federal Governments interests:

  • Know acknowledge and follow system-specific security policies and procedures;
  • Protect data and individual privacy per requirements and regulations;
  • Perform ongoing activities in compliance with service and contractual obligations;
  • Participate in role-based training completing assignments on a timely basis;
  • Report security issues promptly and aid investigation when needed;
  • Support controlled changes and vulnerability remediation activities; and
  • Work collaboratively with Information Security in designing implementing assessing or enhancing system-specific security and privacy controls.

Position Risk Designation section:

This position carries duties and responsibilities involving the U.S. Federal Governments interests. The selected incumbent may be subject to one or both of the additional background checks with periodic re-screening as noted below:

Position Risk Designation: Non-Sensitive Low Risk Tier 1

Incumbents without access to U.S. Government data may be required to complete Standard Form 85 and undergo a Tier 1 Investigation (T1) for non-sensitive positions of Low Risk. (Baseline screening; formerly National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI)).

Position Risk Designation: Non-Sensitive Moderate Risk Tier 2 (Public Trust)

Incumbents with access to U.S. Government data may be required to complete Standard Form 85P and undergo Tier 2 (T2) Investigation for non-sensitive positions designated Moderate Risk.

Position Risk Designation:Moderate Risk Law Enforcement (CJIS)

When hired for a position where access to Moderate Risk criminal justice information is required the employee must complete a fingerprint-based national criminal history background check within 30 days after the employees start date.

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; this role is also eligible to earn commissions pursuant to the Companys written Incentive Compensation Plan. Additionally the role is eligible for equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.

$375000$400000 USD
