You will play a key role in working with our business users to understand and document their requirements across a variety of Financial Applications. You will oversee the seamless operation and continuous improvement of our Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) system for the financial consolidation process. You will collaborate across global IT teams and support end-users effectively. You will report directly to CFIN IT Stream Lead.
Key Responsibilities
Enable communication between finance teams IT and other departments to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Develop comprehensive business requirements user stories and process maps to guide the development teams.
Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to understand their needs and document functional and non-functional requirements
Conduct workshops and interviews to elicit detailed business requirements.
Specify and support reports and dashboards to provide insights into financial performance and operational efficiency.
Develop test cases and conduct system testing to ensure that solutions meet specified requirements and are free of defects.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the finance department.
Provide technical support for finance-related systems addressing user inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
Help implement new finance technologies and tools ensuring they meet business needs.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration Information Technology or a related field.
2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a finance or accounting environment.
Experience with financial processes reporting and analysis.
Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is desirable.
Experience with ERP Financial systems is desirable.
Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques including Excel SQL or similar.
Project management experience is a plus.
Understanding of IT concepts terminology and practical application of current and emerging technologies.
Analytical abilities and technical skills to evaluate alternative approaches and to recommend the most sensible and economical solutions.
Must be able to work without close supervision
