  • 55241 per annum plus additional benefits.
  • Home-based with occasional travel.

The role and what you take care of:

We are seeking a dedicated Reporting Developer with expertise in Data and Insight. The ideal candidate will become one of our SQL and Power BI subject matter experts overseeing reporting systems. Our focus is on delivering quality affordable housing and services that enhance the lives of our customers. We aim to cultivate excellent business partnerships fostering long-term mutual success to help us provide exceptional homes and related part of this team you will:

  • Design and create accurate high-quality reports and Power BI dashboards from core business systems to meet business needs
  • Support Magnas focus on data integrity data and system development projects and cloud-based analytics within a collaborative environment
  • Be an integral part of the Data and Insight team using new analytical tools and maintaining a suite of business reports and PowerBI dashboards to support the Board Executive Leadership and operational management. A full role profile is attached to this advert.

What you need to be successful:

  • You will be a passionate data and insight professional with proven experience working with relational databases data modelling and ETL processes skilled in complex querying and reporting using Microsoft SQL Server Power BI SSRS Visual Studio and DAX and semantic model design.
  • Extensive experience in database development SQL optimisation and producing effective reports is highly valued as is the capacity to manage stakeholder expectations while consistently delivering impactful results.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple complex requests and prioritise tasks based on business needs are a must. We value a creative and innovative problem solver with exceptional troubleshooting skills and a logical structured approach.
  • Great interpersonal skills with clear and effective communication abilities complemented by a proactive and solution-oriented approach. Prior experience within the housing sector or a related field is considered advantageous.
