Our Millington facility is a newly opened state-of-the-art MRO hangar capable of supporting heavy maintenance for narrow-body aircraft with a strong focus on quality safety and on-time delivery.

Position Summary

The A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing inspections maintenance and repairs on commercial aircraft and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with FAA regulations manufacturer specifications and company policies. This position plays a vital role in supporting AerSales commitment to excellence in aircraft reliability and performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inspections and repairs on various commercial aircraft.

  • Troubleshoot and correct mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic system discrepancies.

  • Replace or repair components such as engines landing gear flight controls and structural parts.

  • Utilize manufacturer maintenance manuals and FAA-approved data to ensure compliance.

  • Record all work performed in aircraft maintenance logs accurately and timely.

  • Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean organized work environment.

  • Assist with engine runs operational checks and aircraft towing as required.

  • Collaborate with quality inspectors and leads to ensure all work meets AerSale and FAA standards.

Qualifications

  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required.

  • Minimum 1yearsof aircraft maintenance experience (Part 145 or 121 environment preferred).

  • Experience on Boeing Airbus or regional jet platforms strongly preferred.

  • Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals blueprints and engineering data.

  • Ability to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends as needed.

  • Must possess strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand bend or kneel for extended periods.

  • Comfortable working in hangar and ramp environments with varying temperatures.
