Position Summary:
E-J Electric is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern / Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for a college student or early-career professional seeking hands-on experience in office administration project coordination and operations within the construction industry working directly with the CFO. The role offers exposure to multiple facets of business operations in a supportive fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the project and operations teams.
- Assist with document management including filing organizing and maintaining digital and physical records.
- Help coordinate schedules calendar invitations and meetings.
- Track and compile expense reports and assist with basic financial recordkeeping.
- Support project coordination by assisting with logs submittals and compliance documentation.
- Perform general office duties such as scanning copying ordering supplies and maintaining the organization of workspaces.
- Collaborate with team members to support ongoing company initiatives and administrative needs.
- Prepare and edit correspondence reports and meeting materials.
Qualifications:- Current college student or recent graduate (preferred fields: Business Administration Construction Management Communications or related area).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Schedule:- Minimum of 20 hours per week guaranteed in-person at our Long Island City office
- Flexible scheduling is available to accommodate academic commitments.
