Job Summary
Were looking for people who love to build extraordinary products help us build frameworks used by a multitude of the Apple community. This role requires working closely with multi-functional teams to optimally coordinate the sophisticated interdependencies inherent to our ecosystem. Ensuring quality in every deliverable creative thinking strong problem solving and the ability to collaborate with other multi- functional teams in a dynamic setting are meaningful attributes which will serve you well in this role.
- BS or MS in Computer Science Information Technology or related field plus 2 equivalent work experience will be considered
- Solid software engineering fundamentals including data structures & algorithms object-oriented design and concurrency
- Experience in building high scale backend distributed systems using public cloud technologies
- Strong Java expertise - including but not limited to: Core Java Multithreading non-blocking IO
- Experience with modern web technologies like HTML5 CSS Javascript and its frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Familiarity using AI for software development and maintenance developing machine learning systems ML frameworks libraries and algorithms is desirable but not required.
- Familiarity with GitHub build and deployment tools like Maven Docker Spinnaker Kubernetes
- Knowledge and experience working with CI/CD tools integration/operations and full automation testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a multi-functional team on high-profile critical projects
