TASKS/ RESPONSABILITIES:
This is a hands-on role where youll be trusted to lead and guide the organisation in matters of data protection. Youll be involved in multiple cross-functional projects working closely with stakeholders across departments to embed privacy into daily operations and strategic initiatives. Your ability to translate legal requirements into practical solutions will be key. You will work in a small team and report directly to the Risk & Compliance Manager.- Provide practical advice and support on data protection matters both in daily operations and in connection with new projects.
- Map personal data processing activities and maintain the companys processing register.
- Monitor data protection routines across the organisation and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Identify and manage privacy-related risks including handling data subject rights data retention incident management and conducting risk assessments.
- Collaborate closely with teams across IT IT security business operations HR legal and compliance to ensure privacy controls are embedded in all processes and systems.
- Contribute to the development of policies privacy notices and other documentation related to personal data processing.
- Implement global privacy policies by developing and maintaining local guidelines and procedures.
- Respond to inquiries from data subjects.
- Act as the primary contact for all data protection and privacy-related questions.
- Develop and deliver training programs to raise awareness of data protection requirements.
- Lead privacy-related projects and drive continuous improvement.
PROFILE:- Bachelors degree in law or another relevant field with at least three years of experience in data protection privacy or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of data protection regulations and best practices.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing privacy policies and documentation.
- Fluent inEnglish both written and spoken with astrong preference for candidates who understandSwedish as the ability to communicate effectively with local authorities and stakeholders is essential.
- Experience from the financial or leasing industry is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment both independently and in teams.
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously with a confident and diplomatic approach.
- Skilled at gaining trust providing guidance and influencing others to ensure privacy is prioritised across the organisation
