Position Summary: The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports daily operations to ensure the smooth efficient and profitable running of the restaurant. This leader plays a key role in maintaining high standards of hospitality food quality and team morale while fostering a positive and professional environment for both guests and employees. Key Responsibilities: Assist the General Manager in overseeing all front-of-house operations including guest service staffing and shift execution. Support and lead service teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences that reflect The Big Ketch brand. Train develop and coach team members to uphold standards for service cleanliness and safety. Monitor labor food and beverage costs to achieve financial goals. Partner with kitchen leadership to ensure smooth communication and consistent food quality. Manage opening and closing procedures cash handling and daily reporting. Handle guest feedback professionally ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively. Contribute to recruiting scheduling and performance management efforts. Uphold company policies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications: 2 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience in a full-service environment. Strong leadership and communication skills with a passion for hospitality. Proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. Working knowledge of restaurant financials scheduling and inventory systems. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends. ServSafe certification preferred.
