Job Summary
Job Title: Patient Sitter
Location: Maryville TN 37804
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Weekend coverage required every other week
Local Pay: $690/week
Candidate Requirement: Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from Maryville TN 37804.
Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Patient Sitterfor an exciting job in Maryville TN.
Responsibilities:
Provide continuous direct observation of assigned patients ensuring a direct line of sight at all times.
Document patient behaviors and staff interventions at 15-minute intervals.
Observe and report any signs of distress agitation or escalating behavior to nursing or security personnel.
Adhere to all safety protocols and hospital policies.
Avoid distractions (e.g. reading phone use or sleeping) while on duty.
Provide support in both the Emergency Department (ED) and inpatient settings as needed.
Qualifications:
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required; first-time travelers are welcome.
Strong observation and communication skills.
Ability to remain alert focused and professional throughout the shift.
Demonstrated reliability and commitment to patient safety.
