Job Summary
Duty Manager Luxury Lodge Ceres Western Cape
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and experienced Duty Manager to join a luxury lodge in Ceres Western Cape. This live-in role offers the opportunity to oversee daily operations ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth running of the lodge.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all daily lodge operations including front-of-house housekeeping and guest services
Lead train and motivate staff to maintain high standards of service and professionalism
Handle guest enquiries requests and feedback promptly and professionally
Ensure compliance with health safety and hygiene standards throughout the property
Assist in managing bookings reservations and scheduling to optimise operational efficiency
Monitor and manage inventory supplies and vendor relationships
Support management in implementing operational policies procedures and quality standards
Resolve operational challenges with a calm and proactive approach maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction
Requirements:
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within luxury hospitality
Strong leadership organisational and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high service standards
Commercial awareness with experience in cost control and operational management
Professional proactive and guest-focused approach
Willingness to live and work in a remote lodge environment
Package:
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
