- Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
- Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Oncology RN to join our team. This role involves providing care and treatment to adult patients who are ill injured or recovering within a patient-centered care model. The RN will make independent clinical assessments and manage treatments while collaborating with a supportive interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health and situation.
- Advocate for patients as an active member of the interdisciplinary team.
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or clinical issues.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans with expected outcomes.
- Ensure patient safety and act as a patient advocate.
- Optimize the use of time supplies and equipment to deliver effective care.
- Educate patients and families regarding medications procedures and treatments while providing emotional support throughout their stay.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience (acute care preferred but LTAC experience will be considered).
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida or ability to obtain prior to start.
- Certifications:
- Current BLS required
- ACLS preferred (required within 6 months of hire)
- Education: BSN preferred
