Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Location: Casa Grande AZ

The Mechanic is responsible for conducting maintenance and repairs on construction and industrial equipment. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliable operation and optimal performance of the equipment. The Mechanic must possess a strong knowledge of mechanical systems and adhere to safety standards and protocols.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections diagnostics and repairs on construction and industrial equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues before they cause equipment failure.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical electrical and hydraulic system problems.
- Replace faulty parts and components ensuring proper installation and calibration.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities including inspections repairs and parts inventory.
Required Job Skills & Abilities
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
- Knowledge of hydraulic electrical and mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Education Knowledge & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or training in mechanical or automotive technology is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic in the construction or industrial sector.
- Knowledge of construction equipment such as excavators bulldozers loaders and cranes.
- Familiarity with diagnostic software and computerized systems is a plus.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT & CONDITIONS
- Work primarily in a maintenance shop or field environment.
- Potential hazards include working around heavy machinery exposure to loud noises and working at heights.
- Physical demands include standing bending lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Flexible work schedule may be required including weekends and evenings.
- Travel to job sites may be necessary.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
- Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic tools and software.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail in performing inspections and repairs.

- Customer service skills when interacting with internal teams and external vendors.
