Job Description

The QA Tester will be responsible for planning developing and executing automated and manual test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of enterprise web applications. The role involves close collaboration with business analysts developers and subject matter experts to identify and resolve defects perform functional and performance testing and maintain test documentation in compliance with state IT standards.

MANDATORY SKILLS

84 months of experience in automation testing (e.g. HP UFT) including developing and executing automation test scripts.
84 months of experience in performance testing tools (e.g. LoadRunner) creating and executing performance test scripts.
84 months of experience creating developing and executing functional and regression test scripts with reusable functions.
84 months of experience performing system regression end-to-end integration automated performance smoke black-box white-box and failover testing.
84 months of experience with HP ALM for defect management and documentation.
60 months of experience collaborating with business analysts and SMEs to develop robust test plans and test cases.
60 months of experience with programming languages such as PL/SQL SQL Java HTML TSL PHP and VBScript.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

Experience performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting application issues in complex environments.
Knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting best practices.
Experience providing on-call production support and managing test documentation for audits.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile testing methodologies.
Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration and defect triage meetings.
