Job Summary
Expert Web Designer
We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to support a large-scale modernization initiative within a state-level healthcare technology environment. This role involves designing enhancing and optimizing web-based user interfaces that meet accessibility standards improve usability and support compliance for sensitive health data applications. The selected consultant will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into intuitive accessible and visually effective user experiences.
What Youll Do:
- Design user interfaces for complex web-based applications ensuring adherence to WCAG and W3C accessibility standards.
- Create wireframes prototypes storyboards user flows and visual mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Develop UI prototypes to help stakeholders visualize workflows and user interactions.
- Support development teams by translating designs into front-end implementation details and reviewing UI integration.
- Troubleshoot UI/UX and browser compatibility issues to maintain seamless end-user experience.
- Work collaboratively using Agile methodologies and development tracking tools.

Required Skills & Experience:
- 84 Months experience designing web-based application interfaces leveraging W3C and WCAG accessibility standards.
- 84 Months experience with visual design and wireframing tools such as Adobe Photoshop XD Illustrator Balsamiq UXPin Figma etc.
- 84 Months experience building and presenting UI prototypes.
- 36 Months experience designing within environments handling HIPAA PHI data.
- 60 Months experience with HTML CSS JavaScript and responsive design for mobile devices.
- 60 Months experience using Jira for development tracking.
- 60 Months experience working with TFS/Azure DevOps and navigating Visual Studio environments.
- 48 Months experience troubleshooting styling and browser compatibility issues.
