About This Position:

Vivo Infusion is seeking an Payroll Coordinator based in our Grand Rapids MI or Denver CO office. This is a hybrid role. The Payroll Coordinators primary responsibility is the timely compliant and accurate administration of payroll including off cycle and PEO payroll processing. This individual supports various initiatives and projects specific to Payroll and HRIS including but not limited to bonus administration HRIS support reporting auditing training and other responsibilities as assigned. This role is valuable to the Human Resources team and shall serve as an advocate for all HR and Payroll related projects and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be proactive aligned to organizational needs goal-oriented and enjoy challenges. This person should be able to work both independently and within a team environment fostering all relationships. Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $27.00 - $30.50 / hr.

This is a hybrid position in which the individual in this role will report to their local corporate office a minimum of 3 days each week.

    Primary Role Responsibilities:

    Payroll Administration and HRIS Support:

    • Serve as a main administrator of payroll processing (regular off cycles and PEO)
    • Administer time & labor in HRIS ensuring ease of use and accuracy
    • Support quarterly & annual bonus calculations and related payroll processing
    • Set up new hire PTO and applicable Sick time accrual policies
    • Undertakes cost center administration
    • Process new hire onboarding ensuring I-9 compliance using E-Verify
    • Support ad-hoc reporting for HR Finance and other departments as needed
    • Support regular audits including but not limited to 401k and workers compensation
    • Conduct trainings related to payroll & HRIS projects for employees and leadership
    • Efficiently process tax/garnishment requests and correspondence
    • Process verification of employment requests timely and confidentially
    • Works with HRIS/LMS vendors to resolve system questions or issues
    • Facilitate communication for year-end reminders to employees
    • Serve as a main point of contact for employees with payroll HRIS and LMS questions or concerns
    • Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations and recommend best practices

    Benefits Administration:

    • Audit and process contributions deductions time off pay for employees going on leave. Document notes for payroll processing
    • Audits deductions from open enrollment ensuring accuracy for payroll
    • Prepares regular reporting requests relating to leave and other accommodation requests from benefits team

    Secondary Role Responsibilities:

    • Administer new hire HR training via dedicated LMS
    • Support new hire orientation and introduction to HRIS platform
    • Support all HR initiatives programs and special projects.
    • Follow all safety and security guidelines to properly safeguard member and organization assets.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • 1-3 years experience with payroll within an HR/Finance team. Payroll or HR certifications a plus.
    • Experience with Paylocity is a Preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and ability to collaborate in fast-paced environments across diverse geographies.
    • Commitment to accuracy eye for detail energetic and driven to achieve results.
    • Experience working directly with vendor providers and across departments/teams.
    • Can-do attitude with a desire to continue learning and growing. Experience within Private Equity or healthcare environments a plus.

    Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Local travel up to 10% of the time; additional overnight travel up to 10% of the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

    The employee is frequently required to sit and infrequently required to stand lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to sit stand walk and talk climb stairs and hear. Requires excellent visual dexterity and manual dexterity.
