Production Operative - Solder
Salary: 26546
Location: Oldham
Hours: Monday Thursday 0700am 1600hrs or 0800am -1700hrs. Friday 0700am 11.00am or 0800am 1200pm
We are excited to be partnering with an organisation who are specialists in the Electronic Engineering field. Our client is seeking a production operation with strong through-hole soldering experience to join their ever growing and rapidly expanding business.
The Production Operative will work within a production team to assemble test rework and overhaul basic and complex Safety Critical Electronic/Electrical Equipment used in various industries. The role involves adhering to the companys policies procedures and customer specifications.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assemble test rework overhaul and inspect Electrical/Electronic equipment to IPC610 standard.
- Perform cable assembly to IPC620 standard.
- Ensure timely completion of work in accordance with customers requirements.
- Maintain flexibility to work in other departments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues clients and suppliers as necessary.
- Provide training and mentoring to other team members including trainees and apprentices.
Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Electrical & Electronic Assembly & Rework.
- Familiarity with standards such as ISO9001 IPC610/620 & 7711/21.
- Proficiency in soldering/desoldering techniques.
- Competence in wiring tasks.
- Ability to perform self-inspection of work.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Additionally candidates must demonstrate proficiency and experience in through-hole soldering techniques
