The Employment Consultant (OGS/PPS) plays a vital role in supporting Real Futures mission to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through sustainable
employment opportunities.

What will you be doing
- Provide case management for aspirants receiving Ongoing Support and Post Placement Support services
- Build and maintain positive relationships with employers
- Conduct workplace visits
- Maintain regular contact with aspirants offering mentoring motivation and guidance
- Refer book and complete Ongoing Support Assessments with assigned assessors
- Collect and record all required evidence to support and process employment outcomes
- Utilise JobAccess and the Supported Wage System
- Prepare and submit accurate documentation for Ongoing and Post Placement Support outcomes
- Maintain detailed and compliant case notes in Job Ready Live
- Ensure all activities comply with IEA Agreement WHS and organisational policies and procedures

- Someone who as the ability to overcome objections and break down employment barriers that exist for people
- Ability to deliver efficient and effective strategies to positively engage with employers and build sustainable relationships
- Awareness of vulnerabilities and the positive effects of employment
- Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- An understanding or ability to learn how to work with potential employers to source employment
- Well-developed problem-solving skills

To be considered:
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Have a current drivers licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
- Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check before employment
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
