Through headspace Kalgoorlie operated by HOPE we provide early intervention and holistic support to young people aged 12 to 25 across the Goldfields region. Our trusted and youth-friendly team offers services in four key areas - mental health physical and sexual health alcohol and other drugs and work and study support empowering young people to build resilience and create positive futures.

About the Role

Were looking for a warm organised and community-minded Receptionist (Part-Time Afternoons) to join our headspace Kalgoorlie team.

As the first point of contact for young people and their families youll create a safe welcoming and inclusive environment that reflects our commitment to care and respect. Youll provide administrative operational and program support manage appointments and enquiries assist with event coordination and help keep our centre running smoothly.

Youll Need

Essential:

  • Experience in an administration or reception role
  • An interest in working with young people and supporting mental health services
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and data entry
  • Excellent organisation time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Empathy professionalism and a positive proactive attitude

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Medicare billing and electronic medical records
  • Qualifications in business administration finance or human resources
  • Experience in not-for-profit health or youth services sectors

Pre-employment requirements:

  • Current C or A class drivers licence
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Police Clearance (within 3 months)
