Job Summary
Is this you
- Do you instinctively open PLC ladder logic when a line trips and can navigate Allen Bradley plus another platform (Mitsubishi Schneider GE or Opto 22)
- Can you trace a fault from an HMI alarm through AC vector/servo drives to a sensors sinking/sourcing configuration
- Are you comfortable calibrating instruments interpreting schematics and coaching electricians all while driving a zeroincident EHS mindset

Role snapshot
Youll safeguard the reliability of plant automation and control systems partnering across departments to test diagnose repair enhance and upgrade equipment instrumentation processes and procedures.
Your focus areas
- Safety & culture: Promote a zero EHS incident culture; investigate incidents/near misses identify root cause correct hazards and share learnings.
- Controls troubleshooting: Deepdive on PLCs HMIs motors and drives (Allen Bradley required one of Mitsubishi/Schneider/GE/Opto 22); read/modify ladder logic.
- Electrical/electronic work: Install and modify controllers and drive systems; apply knowledge of AC/DC analog and sinking/sourcing circuits.
- Robotics: Maintain and troubleshoot Fanuc automation (palletizers case erectors pickandplace).
- Multidiscipline support: Use fundamentals in hydraulics pneumatics mechanical systems and PC hardware.
- Documentation: Interpret drawings/schematics/specs; utilize CAD (AutoCAD Vizio etc.); maintain procedures manuals and asbuilt records.
- Continuous improvement: Stay current with modern controls; apply PDCA to eliminate root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Leadership & training: Provide advanced technical assistance to shift electricians; train team members; supervise contractors to reduce downtime.
- Flexibility: Support occasional offshift needs including weekends/holidays and callins.
What youll need
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); apprenticeship or equivalent training.
- Associates in maintenance or industrial technology (preferred).
- 5 years of industrial maintenance with significant automation/controls exposure.
- Fluency with Microsoft apps Outlook SAP etc.
- Knowledge of OSHA Electrical Standards and the NEC.
- Proven rootcause troubleshooting skills.
- Selfmotivated effective with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Decisive under tight timelines.
- Collaborative teamfirst mindset.
