Finance Business Partner Permanent based in Milton Keynes MK9
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a Finance Business Partner FP&A to join our dynamic finance this key role you will deliver actionable financial insights enabling data-driven decision-making across the business. You will work closely with sales commercial and operational teams to support performance management profitability reporting forecasting and financial system ownership helping the business achieve its strategic objectives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver monthly segmental profitability reports for General Managers addressing queries and providing insight into business performance.
- Develop and enhance reporting frameworks that enable informed data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
- Collaborate closely with sales commercial and operational teams to provide financial insights that influence strategy and improve business outcomes.
- Lead the finance system function overseeing all data uploads and ensuring accurate reporting in OneStream for actual results forecasts and budgets.
- Manage working capital forecasts and maintain rolling 13-week cash flow projections to support business planning.
- Respond independently to ad-hoc financial requests from regional and global finance stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted partner to cross-functional teams providing financial guidance and supporting business initiatives.
Person Specification:
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities able to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Proactive independent thinker with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Highly organised and capable of working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and support cross-functional teams.
Experience:
- Previous experience in FP&A commercial finance or business partnering roles.
- Background in a Big 4 firm or professional training environment is highly desirable.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA ACCA or CIMA).
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools with proven analytical skills.
- Experience working with enterprise financial systems ideally OneStream ERP or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to provide actionable insights manage financial reporting and support business decisions effectively.
- Track record of working collaboratively with non-financial stakeholders to influence business outcomes.
