Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT / CRT Accepted)
Location: Akron OH 44307
Duration: 12 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Orientation: 16 Hours (Non-Billable)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to provide high-quality respiratory care services within a hospital environment. The therapist will work night shifts and may be required to float between affiliated facilities as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise adaptability and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer safe and effective respiratory therapy to patients of varying acuity levels.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including ventilation management airway care and oxygen administration.
Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy documenting and reporting changes as appropriate.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Float between designated facilities as needed to meet operational needs.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
CRT or RRT credentials accepted.
NBRC and AHA BLS certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission.
Active Ohio Respiratory License required prior to submittal.
Contract Length: 8 or 12 weeks.
Must be willing to float as needed to nearby affiliated facilities (including Hillcrest Avon Medina and Lutheran).
All work history including prior positions with the facility network must be fully documented in the submission profile.
All RTO and scheduling requests must be communicated during both submission and interview.
