Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to support production and facility operations at a manufacturing plant in the Owasso area. The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment ensuring safety reliability and operational efficiency. This hands-on position is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities

Perform planned maintenance on equipment and systems under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.
Prepare tools parts and documentation before maintenance activities.
Disassemble clean and reassemble equipment and components as needed.
Support both Manufacturing and Maintenance teams in equipment cleaning and repair.
Perform basic fabrication welding plumbing and electrical work as required.
Troubleshoot issues in hydraulics pneumatics and other mechanical systems.
Assist in the installation demolition or decontamination of equipment.
Build and modify jigs fixtures and other manufacturing supports.
Participate in Operational Excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all company safety policies.

Required Skills & Competencies

Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong initiative and self-motivation with minimal supervision required.
Commitment to quality accuracy and reliability in all work performed.
Knowledge of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and OSHA safety practices.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand or walk for 10 hours per day.
Frequent stooping kneeling and climbing required.
Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs unassisted using proper safety techniques.
Must have sufficient visual acuity and depth perception to operate tools and inspect parts.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing shop environment and confined spaces when necessary.

Preferred Education & Experience

Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
Valid Oklahoma drivers license.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to work any shift and follow detailed written or oral instructions.
