The Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in providing a safe nurturing and safe environment for infants (newborn to 1 year old). The role focuses on ensuring the physical emotional and developmental well-being of each child under care.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the daily care supervision and feeding of infants.
Support in creating a warm secure and hygienic environment conducive to early development.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
Monitor infants health comfort and emotional well-being reporting any concerns to the Lead Teacher.
Follow established routines for nap times feeding diaper changes and developmental play.
Engage infants in age-appropriate sensory and motor activities.
Support in maintaining accurate attendance and activity records.
Communicate effectively and compassionately with parents and staff.
Ensure adherence to all safety hygiene and health regulations.
Requirements
Diploma or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
Minimum 12 years of experience caring for infants (01 year).
Knowledge of child development principles and infant care practices.
Strong communication patience and teamwork skills.
CPR and First Aid certification (advantage).
Required Skills:
