Wagner Doman Leto & Di Leo P.C. founded in 1986 is widely recognized for our depth of experience in the medical malpractice arena. Many of our attorneys have practiced defense litigation for decades and that knowledge and passion for the field and the law is conferred upon every attorney hired by Wagner Doman Leto & Di Leo P.C.

We are seeking new graduates & seasoned Attorneys to join our team of professionals. Our medical malpractice defense attorneys work closely and responsively with physicians hospitals nursing homes and other facilities & medical experts to address the specific individual needs of each client.

Primary Responsibilities:

Represent clients in medical malpractice litigation cases with an exceptional level of professionalism and efficiency
Communicate with insurance carriers in a professional and timely manner
Draft review and revise legal motions briefs and other court filings
Attend court hearings depositions expert reviews and mediations to advocate on behalf of clients
Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process
Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with applicable laws
Manage all aspects of discovery including drafting requests responding to inquiries and analyzing evidence
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies
Evaluate medical records and clearly and concisely report to the multiple medical carriers that we represent as to the allegations claims and available defenses
Maintain current knowledge of relevant laws and legal precedents impacting personal injury defense
Work closely with partners and coworkers to ensure case management and client satisfaction

Successful Candidates Must Have:

Active New York law license OR pending admission to NY Bar Association
Demonstrated ability to draft file and argue motions and briefs effectively
Exposure and experience in managing complex discovery processes including electronic discovery
Strong research skills and the ability to analyze legal issues thoroughly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in legal practice
