Were supporting a fast-growing aerospace manufacturer seeking an EHS and Facilities Lead to build and manage world-class environmental health safety and facility programs. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing compliance risk management and facility operations across manufacturing R&D and office environments.
The ideal candidate will combine strategic planning with on-the-floor execution-driving safety culture operational readiness and scalability as the organization expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA EPA and state/local regulatory requirements
- Lead incident investigations root cause analyses and corrective actions
- Conduct regular risk assessments and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
- Champion a proactive safety culture through training and engagement
- Develop and maintain emergency response and action plans
- Oversee daily facility operations maintenance and infrastructure projects
- Manage vendor relationships for maintenance and facility services
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Support facility expansion and space planning initiatives
The pay range for this role is $120000 - $160000 per year.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Occupational Safety Engineering or related field
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in EHS and facilities management
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Experience within aerospace high-tech manufacturing or advanced production settings
Knowledge & Skills
- Deep understanding of OSHA EPA Cal/OSHA and Cal/EPA standards
- Strong background in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Proven track record managing multi-site operations (preferred)
- Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving skills
Hands-on proactive approach with strong leadership and influencing ability
