This role focuses on optimizing design for manufacturability (DFM) streamlining electro-mechanical assembly processes and supporting lean initiatives across production. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented technically skilled and thrives in a fast-paced collaborative engineering setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive NPI activities ensuring smooth transition from design to production for electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Collaborate with design and R&D teams to improve DFM and product reliability.
- Develop document and optimize assembly processes using lean manufacturing principles.
- Support ERP/PLM/PDM integration for accurate configuration and manufacturing data management.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering required.
- 5 years of manufacturing experience in electronics.
- Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assembly and GD&T practices.
- Familiarity with ERP PLM and PDM systems for production management.
- Proven track record implementing lean and continuous improvement principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
