We have been nationally recognized for our work with English Language Nurse Role Nurses are an essential part of the school team. The nurse will work alongside the nurse leader and an primary duties of this role include but are not limited to:Monitor students or staff who are illSupervise prescribed medical treatments and medication administration in accordance with all medical and vaccination records Run a school medical office independently. Administer first aid as needed Participate in emergency services for students and staff in the event of sudden illness or injury. Join the larger staff for professional development as needed Provide assessment planning intervention evaluation management and referral for appropriate medical care of students with acute or chronic health vision and hearing screenings; coordinate dental in the development of IEPs and 504 plans to address individual needsPrepare health reports for Nurse Leader Department of Education and Department of Public Were Looking ForWe seek outstanding people with the following qualifications:Must hold a current valid Registered Nurse License in Massachusetts Experience working with children and families in a school or community setting preferred CPR Certified Humility resilience and a hunger to learn and growStrong team orientationInfectious joyBilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. School hours are 8:25-4:00 for staff. This position is expected to begin as soon as the right candidate is available. Compensation: Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
