Responsibilities
The Strategic Advisory Group is one of the most experienced teams in the industry and has been involved in some of the largest most complex transactions in recent years. Our global team focuses on a diverse set of industries including technology media & telecommunications consumer energy oil & gas power utilities & renewables industrials healthcare and real estate gaming lodging and leisure.
Associates within the Advisory group work directly with companies in evaluating structuring and recommending financial and strategic alternatives. Associates typically work on a wide variety of transactions including mergers acquisitions joint ventures asset sales and divestitures. They are staffed directly on client teams and are expected to be involved in all aspects of a transaction including due diligence valuation analysis and the negotiating of contracts and other agreements. The comparatively small size of this group offers professionals the unique opportunity to gain client exposure and work closely with senior members of the team many of whom were previously group heads at leading investment banking firms.
The Strategic Advisory team in San Francisco is focused exclusively on the Technology sector and as a result we are seeking candidates who possess knowledge of and interest in the Technology industry.
Requirements
To be considered for the Associate position applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 2 years of directly comparable (investment banking or private equity) experience
- Resume must be in PDF format
Qualifications
We seek to hire individuals who are highly motivated intelligent and are proven addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills the successful candidate should have excellent communication skills a demonstrated ability to write effectively interests outside of work and a desire to work in a team environment. A strong background in finance/accounting is required.
Expected annualized base salary of $200000 to $250000.
This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors including but not limited to role level and scope location candidates relevant qualifications skills and experience.
Base salary is one component of PJT Partners compensation addition to base salary PJT Partners compensation structure may include additional rewards incentives and benefits including but not limited to a discretionary bonus component.
