With a stable revenue base of $25M$50M were looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to lead our general ledger operations. What Youll Do
As the Accounting Manager youll oversee two direct reports and play a key role in the financial health of our U.S. operations. Reporting to a highly respected CFO youll manage:
Youll be joining a close-knit finance team that values mentorship collaboration and continuous improvement. The company has been operating in the U.S. for over 30 years and employs around 100 people in North America. Location & Flexibility
This role is based in Emporia VA with a hybrid work option (3 days in-office 2 remote). Candidates within commuting distance from Richmond VA and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.

As the Accounting Manager youll oversee two direct reports and play a key role in the financial health of our U.S. operations. Reporting to a highly respected CFO youll manage:
- Month-end close and financial reporting
- Journal entries accruals and reconciliations (bank fixed assets inventory etc.)
- Payroll processing and labor reconciliations (Paylocity/ADP)
- Tax filings (sales & use personal property excise gross receipts)
- Audit support and GAAP compliance
- Cost analysis and COGS tracking
- ERP system operations (more robust than QuickBooks)
- 57 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting bank reconciliations and journal entries
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or Business
- Detail-oriented analytical and collaborative mindset
