What will you be doing

Senior QA engineer role where an individual is responsible for testing quality of data across different systems like Datawarehouse and reporting tool.âIdentify and design data related test cases and standard approaches to automate them implement internalâQAâprocesses.â

Job Responsibilities

• Designing developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL processes usingâPySparkâPython andâSQL.â
• Understanding of Test Architect flow and manage data warehouse solutions onâCloud platformsâ(AWS Azure GCP) ensuring scalability reliability and cost-efficiency.â
• Plan understand impact across layers and present Test Plan / Strategy for Platform product factoring stability and Performance.
• Participate in release planning and managing product releases or project components from QA perspective.
• Establish and enforce best practices in quality engineering including Testing standards automation testing and documentation.â
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.â
• Participate in test strategic planning testing phase and cross-functional leadership discussions.â
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and recommend improvements to enhance product reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.â
• 47 years of experience in Test lead engineering with a strong focus on cloud-native data solutions.â
• Experience with automation tools/frameworks like Pytest JUnit TestNG Selenium or custom scripting in Python.
• Experience inâPythonâPySpark Basic Unix andâStrong SQLâfor test data processing and analytics.â
• Proven experience withâCloud platformsâ(AWS Azure or GCP) and their data services.â
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts data modeling and distributed systems.â
• Understanding Agile test methodologies and defects tracking tool such as Jira.â
• Experience using ETL tools and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience with orchestration tools likeâApache Airflow Control-Mâ
• Experience in database testing and writing SQL to validate data integrity.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions) and version control (Git).
• Knowledge of BI tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) and data visualization best practices.â
• Experience in Agile environments and in Data Analytics Market Research for Retail domain.
• Experience using ETL tools and defect lifecycle management
