About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer who thrives on building high-performance scalable and AI-augmented enterprise applications. This role demands strong backend engineering in Java while delivering full-stack solutions with a strong emphasis on cloud-native development microservices and GenAI integration.

You will play a pivotal role in leading team of experience developers in service management team and to design and implement the next generation of features for the application as well as support clients in their production phase.

What we are looking for -

  • Define and communicate the technical strategy for full stack development within the organization ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Lead the development of client releases focusing on scalability performance and innovation.
  • Facilitate architecture reviews design walkthroughs and technical reviews to ensure sound engineering decisions.
  • Champion the adoption of design patterns and architectural best practices across teams.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of delivery teams and initiatives.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation by encouraging experimentation with new technologies and methodologies particularly in AI and cloud computing.
  • Facilitate regular strategic planning sessions with the development team to assess progress identify challenges and adjust priorities as needed.

Core Technical Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in Java (8) object-oriented design multithreading and JVM memory management. Proficient with the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot MVC Data Security Batch) and JPA/Hibernate.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the J2EE - Application Servers ( WebLogic IBM WebSphere JBoss / Tomcat) with proven excellence in Java.
  • Proficiency in one of the Messaging Systems: JMS MQ Tibco.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Oracle - (PL/SQL)
  • Deep diagnosis skills & experience working with legacy code thread dump analysis & Code profiling tools. Good knowledge of refactoring techniques is an added advantage.
  • Understands and applies J2EE design patterns GoF GRASP Visitor Observer and other design patterns
  • Proficient in diagnostics using tools like Datadog Splunk Dynatrace; strong debugging thread dump analysis and profiling skills.
  • Understanding of Java Memory Management and GC tuning.
  • Working knowledge of Spring boot
  • Tooling & Testing
    • Expertise in Unit testing using JUNIT TestNG Cactus or mock objects
    • Expertise in GITHub branching code management
    • Demonstrates ability to use an IDE and mentor others in the use of an IDE.
    • Understands fundamentals of JVM memory management.

AI & Productivity Tooling (Modern Skills):

  • Demonstrated experience using AI-enhanced development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot Replit AI ChatGPT Amazon CodeWhisperer or any equivalent) to improve code quality automate repetitive tasks and speed up development cycles.
  • Institutionalize Copilot Claude Cursor for engineering productivity
  • Hands-on experience with observability and AIOps platforms like Splunk Datadog New Relic and Prometheus for proactive application monitoring diagnostics and performance optimization.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance tuning load testing and profiling tools.
  • Knowledge of domain-driven design (DDD) and event-driven architecture (EDA).
  • Experience contributing to open-source projects or internal developer tools.
  • Certifications in Java Spring or cloud platforms (AWS Certified Developer etc.).
  • Experience with enterprise-grade applications in Corporate Actions & Custody domain

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Capable of managing priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced continuously evolving environment.
  • Ability to lead discussions drive decisions and influence architecture and design direction.
  • Strong mentoring & team-building skills with a commitment to knowledge sharing

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 to 16 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
