Day to day as a Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator
As an Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator at Bible Fellowship Church Homes Inc. you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of care for our residents. You will lead the completion of nursing-required sections of MDS reports meticulously reviewing each for accuracy prior to submission thereby maximizing facility-wide case mix reimbursement. Collaboration is key; you will actively participate in interdisciplinary care planning conferences evaluating resident progress and aligning care plans with MDS data.

A graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current Pennsylvania State License is essential; a Bachelors degree is preferred. You should possess or be willing to pursue a Resident Assessment Coordinator Certification alongside intermediate computer skills to effectively utilize necessary software tools.
A minimum of three years of clinical experience particularly two years with the geriatric population is vital along with comprehensive knowledge of MDS 3.0 development and the RAI Manual. Familiarity with RUG III/IV categories and the Case Mix Index will help you maximize reimbursement effectively. Strong team-building skills the ability to organize and prioritize tasks and independent work ethic are crucial for producing quality outcomes.
Exceptional communication skills will be essential to engage with residents including those with visual or hearing impairments aligning with the RISE Core Values that drive our mission.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Pennsylvania State License
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Resident Assessment Coordinator Certification or willing to pursue
