We are seeking a strategic and driven Product Manager - Product Strategy - to join our Market Planning this role you will independently lead and execute product strategies across various sectors including state and local government K-12 education higher education healthcare and federal markets. You will drive strategic growth by shaping market-specific product strategies leading innovation initiatives and expanding Gordians reach through partnerships and M&A. This role blends market insight early-stage innovation and strategic execution to unlock new opportunities across Gordians Software and Data portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Market and Product Strategy:

• Identify prioritize and execute market-specific product strategies by conducting comprehensive research analyzing market trends and pinpointing growth opportunities in targeted sectors.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the target markets to gather actionable insights and feedback on product offerings.
• Actively participate in industry events and networking opportunities to stay abreast of market trends competitor activities and emerging opportunities ensuring our strategies remain competitive and forward-thinking.

Innovation and Growth:

• Define and manage the product strategy for Horizon 3 innovation identifying cultivating and prioritizing ideas to be executed through Growth Accelerator.
• Lead early-stage innovation by leveraging Fortives Growth Accelerator tools to identify and validate growth opportunities applying lean research methodologies and utilizing rapid experimentation techniques.
• Manage and maintain the existing M&A pipeline ensuring strategic alignment and operational readiness while supporting diligence efforts for potential future acquisition targets to drive long-term growth and market expansion.

Partnership& Channel Development:

• Define and expand Gordians partnership and channel strategy by establishing a scalable framework applicable across the full Software and Data portfolio enabling broader market reach and strategic alignment.
• Source develop and execute strategic partnerships with other organizations to enhance product offerings and accelerate growth.
• Identify and negotiate high-impact partnerships that align with the companys goals and drive mutual growth.

As a key member of the Market Planning team you will support cross-functional partners engage with internal and external stakeholders and leverage data-driven insights to make informed decisions that drive our platforms success.

Qualifications - External

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree & Masters degree preferred
• 10 years of Product or Corporate Strategy experience
• Expertise in Market Assessment and Competitive Analysis
• Experience within the construction industry
• Experience with M&A a plus
• Up to 10% travel
• Strong communicator and public speaker
• Ability to work independently on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; must be able to effectively communicate business concepts to technologists and technology concepts to business partners
• Strong organizational analytical and time management skills
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and willingness to be flexible if priorities change
• Ability to maintain composure exercise good judgment and act in a professional manner when challenged; ability to build and sustain positive and collaborative working relationships
