Established in 2009 the NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic is a TCM Board approved teaching clinic under the NTU School of Biological Sciences. We provide high-quality care through a range of services including acupuncture cupping tuina (adult and paediatric) and herbal medicine. The clinic also plays a key role in training the next generation of Chinese Medicine practitioners through NTUs Double Degree in Biomedical Sciences and Chinese Medicine as well as the new Single Degree in Chinese Medicine.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated clinic manager to oversee the efficient safe and patient-centered operation of the Chinese Medicine Clinic by managing staff ensuring regulatory compliance maintaining service quality and supporting the clinics strategic and financial goals.
Job Description
Manage daily clinic operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
Supervise and develop administrative and clinical support staff.
Maintain high standards of patient care safety and satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with healthcare and TCM regulatory requirements.
Manage clinic finances budgeting and resource utilization effectively.
Monitor performance indicators and implement continuous improvement measures.
Support operations standardisation across clinics and services to ensure consistency and quality of care.
Lead the establishment of additional Chinese Medicine (CM) clinics and collaboration initiatives including joint integrative medicine services with TTSH and other partners.
Drive the integration of TCM into Singapores healthcare framework including development of integrative clinics and standards of care to support the Healthier SG objectives.
Contribute to the development of new initiatives such as co-located TCM clinics in public polyclinics or hospitals and participate in MOH pilot programmes (e.g. subsidised acupuncture).
Support strategic planning service development and clinic growth initiatives.
Foster effective communication and collaboration among clinical teams and external partners.
Uphold the clinics mission ethical standards and reputation in Chinese medicine practice.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Healthcare Management Business Administration or Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Postgraduate qualification or certification in healthcare or management is an advantage.
Understanding of TCM operations and healthcare regulations.
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
Proficient in clinic management systems and MS Office.
Financial and resource management knowledge.
Good communication skills.
Patient-focused ethical and professional.
Empathetic adaptable and detail-oriented.
Able to lead teams and foster a collaborative work culture.
