About the Role

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist you will partner with leaders across the organisation to design and deliver inclusive trauma-informed and values-aligned recruitment processes. Youll take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle from engaging candidates job ads and proactive sourcing to candidate experience onboarding and reporting.

Youll act as a trusted advisor to managers providing insight and guidance to ensure our hiring decisions are fair equitable and aligned with our mission.

This is a full-time position 38 hours per week with flexibility to manage the nature of the role Monday to Friday.

Were looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist with;

Essential

  • A commitment to work within and contribute to the vision mission core values and manifesto of Ruah.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment and talent acquisition preferably in the community services healthcare or NFP sector.
  • Commitment to diversity equity inclusion and trauma-informed recruitment practices.
  • Experience managing end-to-end recruitment for a variety of roles and contemporary sourcing strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a range of candidates and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of recruitment compliance best practices and relevant industry regulations.
  • Experience using Microsoft suite ATS or HRIS platforms and confident with data and reporting
  • Full working rights in Australia.

Desirable

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of diversity and social inclusion- including gender sexuality disability cultural age and linguistic diversity and Aboriginal culture.
  • Knowledge of the SCHADS Award or other relevant awards

  • Competitive salary aligned with Level 6 of the Ruah Enterprise Agreement (and the SCHADS Award) starting at $110000
  • 5 weeks annual leave 17.5% annual leave loading (for award-based staff)
