About the Role
The Redress Advocate works directly with clients via face-to-face and telephone advocacy assisting them in navigating the redress process providing them with information on their rights and options including accessing counselling and legal advice. You will assist them with their application to the program and advocate to ensure their needs are met effectively.
This role engages with a number of stakeholders including the National Redress Scheme and legal services. It also involves public speaking and presentations to the public and other services on the Redress Program.

About You
The ideal candidate will have experience working in advocacy roles with a strong commitment to social justice and have experience working with people with disability who have lived experience of trauma and abuse.
