Position Summary:

Performs technical oversight ofidentifiedengineering projects within a specific specialization or market sector withhigh levelsof complexity. Formulates and guides the attempt to solve problems consisting ofa high levelof difficulty and marked importance to the organization. Maybe responsible forthe developmentof a nichetechnicalservice. Is aware of the Companys goals and uses this knowledge toidentifyways to advance the Companys ability to produce successful projects.â Primary focus may be inclusive of high-profile clients or projects.ââ

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project work with all engineering staff and consultants.
• Troubleshoot and provide design and/or construction solutions.
• Applies advanced engineering techniques and analyses.
• Utilize thorough knowledge of current technology to select and applyappropriate engineeringsoftware for use on projects.â
• Perform complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.ââ
• Assist in recruiting retaining and developing top industry talent.â
• Establish and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all employees clients and other stakeholders.â
• Individual investigations into complex technical problems.â
• Quality control through project review at various stages throughout project design.
• Provides subject matter expertise to company clients on technical issues.â
• Represents firm at technical conferences.â
• Representsfirmat client meetings.
• Assistsin the performance management process by providing feedback to the Project Manager for performance evaluations.
• Works with the Project Manager todeterminetechnical staffing needs for the group.â
• Assures financial and technical project success andmaintainsa high levelof client satisfaction.â

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Informal task supervision of CAD Operators Designers Junior Associates Engineers Engineer IIs Senior Engineers and Principal Engineers at the direction of the Project Manager

EDUCATIONREQUIREMENTS

Bachelors (B.S.) Civil Engineering degree.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

At least 12 years related experience and/ortraining;or equivalent combination of education and experience.â

CERTIFICATION OR LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

A Professional Engineering License isrequiredat this level.â
