OB/GYN Hospitalist Per Diem at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie NY (75 minutes North of New York City)
Vassar Brothers Medical Center (VBMC) of Nuvance Health proudly joining Northwell Health located just 75 minutes north of New York City is seeking a career-minded Obstetrician/Gynecologist Hospitalist or Generalist to join our established and successful group.
Part time and full time opportunities are also available.
With offices located in Poughkeepsie Fishkill and Highland the practice admits exclusively to Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. Our busy Labor and Delivery Unit sees about 2800 babies born each year. We have a level III NICU staffed by neonatologists and additional Allied Health providers as well as an excellent Perinatology program. Fellowship trained Breast surgeons and Gyn-oncologists are also located on the Vassar Hospital campus.

Located on the banks of the scenic Hudson River Vassar Brothers Medical Center has a brand new 696000-square-foot eight-level inpatient pavilion with 264 private medical/surgical patient rooms and 30 critical care rooms. Vassar provides the leading acute and critical emergency care in the region recently adding Level II Trauma Service and Interventional Neuroradiology. Vassar has established centers of excellence in cardiac services cancer care and women and childrens health services. Vassar is consistently ranked as one of the strongest cardiac programs in the United States and one of the Top 100 Heart Hospitals by Modern HealthCare Magazine.
