Your key responsibilities will include:
Preparing the Groups month-end consolidated financial reports.
Completing month-end intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
Managing the parent entitys month-end financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
Preparing the consolidation entitys month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
Preparing the Groups quarterly (including lease reporting) and annual external reporting packages.
Preparing the parent and consolidation entity annual budgets.
Coordinating and completing interim and year-end external audit requests.
Preparing the Groups annual statutory financial statements.
Managing the completion of annual returns and Statistics NZ surveys.
Assisting with the preparation of the Groups annual income tax returns.
About you
In this 6-month fixed term contract - you will ideally have experience in a similar accounting role demonstrating strong financial numeracy and literacy skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Were looking for a team player who is also a self-starter - someone proactive motivated and confident in taking initiative to improve processes and deliver high-quality results.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you must have:
- At least 3 years of CA or CPA post-qualification experience is preferred particularly in group month-end consolidation statutory financial reporting and audit coordination
- Proficiency in advanced MS Excel. Power BI / Power Query JDE Edwards E1 would be beneficial.
