Sous Chef Luxury Nursing HomeHours per Week

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) within a supportive well-equipped kitchen that values teamwork high standards and creativity.
What Were Looking For
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef ideally within a nursing home healthcare or professional hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of nutrition dietary requirements and food textures.
- Solid knowledge of food hygiene allergens and safety regulations.
- Creative and organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a hands-on team-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cook and serve fresh nutritious meals in line with residents preferences and dietary requirements.
- Support the Head Chef with menu development stock control and kitchen organisation.
- Ensure all meals meet food hygiene allergen and safety standards.
- Adapt dishes for individual needs including modified textures allergies and hydration-focused nutrition.
- Supervise and support kitchen assistants to maintain a smooth and efficient operation.
- Uphold the homes premium dining experience ensuring every mealtime is enjoyable and person-centred.
