Project Cost Control Lead | Infrastructure

We are seeking a seasoned cost control leader to oversee and enhance cost management practices across a diverse portfolio. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial transparency governance and strategic insights that support informed decision-making.

• Lead and develop a high-performing cost control team fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive consistent and transparent cost control processes across all projects and programs.
• Strengthen governance and contract oversight through risk reflection and financial alignment.
• Champion digital transformation by implementing scalable tools and ensuring data integrity.
• Provide strategic cost insights and reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Support portfolio-level change management and maintain alignment across controls disciplines.
• Promote continuous improvement through process refinement and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting and cost modelling capabilities.

Qualifications :

To succeed in this role you will bring a strong blend of leadership technical expertise and strategic thinking.

• Proven experience in leading cost control functions within large-scale portfolios or infrastructure programs.
• Deep understanding of cost management practices including budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.
• Strong capability in contract management risk reflection and financial governance.
• Proficiency in digital tools such as PPM systems dashboards and analytics platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex cost data and deliver actionable insights.
• Experience in driving process improvement automation and standardisation.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to coach and develop team members to build commercial and technical capability.
