We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our healthcare team in Baltimore United States. As a CT Technologist you will play a crucial role in performing routine and specialized CT imaging procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Conduct a wide range of CT imaging procedures with precision and efficiency
- Operate CT equipment and related software to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Select appropriate technical factors for each patient to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure
- Administer contrast agents according to facility protocols and patient needs
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in electronic health systems
- Collaborate with radiologists physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to all safety regulations including radiation safety protocols and infection control measures
- Participate in quality control procedures and equipment maintenance
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in workflow patient experience and image quality
- Assist in training and educating new staff members and students
Qualifications :
- Associate degree or Certificate in radiologic technology from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education (USDE) or Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- Minimum of one year experience in CT imaging
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
- Valid Maryland State Radiographer License
- CT Registry certification preferred
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures protocols and radiation safety principles
- Proficiency in operating CT equipment and related software
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
