Job Summary
- Design develop and release powertrain differential EDM and cradle mounts from concept to vehicle launch
- Coordinate validation and testing with cross-functional teams (NVH Dynamics Vehicle Integration Stress Lab CAE)
- Lead component design using FMEA and CAE tools
- Ensure vehicle packaging compliance and drawing/model integrity
- Manage change processes (CN EBOM/CODEP) and issue tracking (GIMs)
- Oversee component validation (DVP&R)
- Support builds at OEM assembly and supplier plants
- Design fastened joints and develop torque specifications
Qualifications :
- Experience in powertrain and chassis system design/release
- Proficient in FMEA CAE and DVP&R processes
- Knowledge of vehicle packaging and drawing best practices
- Familiarity with change management systems (CN EBOM/CODEP)
- Skilled in issue tracking with GIMs
- Experience with fastener joint design and torque specification development
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams for validation/testing
- Build support experience at OEM and supplier facilities
