Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) PreOp / PACU
Location: Warrensville Heights OH 44122
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 4x10-Hour (7:00 AM 5:30 PM)
Block Scheduling: Not Available
Orientation: 20 Hours (Non-Billable)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic perioperative care team at a hospital facility in Warrensville Heights OH. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality preoperative and post-anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
This role requires flexibility for on-call coverage during nights and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safe and effective preoperative and post-anesthesia patient care in accordance with hospital and nursing standards.
Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care throughout the perioperative process.
Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status.
Collaborate closely with surgeons anesthesiologists and other interdisciplinary team members.
Participate in on-call rotations including night and weekend coverage.
Complete and maintain all required documentation accurately and promptly.
Requirements:
Minimum 18 months of recent PACU experience required.
Must have at least 18 months of permanent PACU experience prior to first travel assignment.
Active Ohio RN License or Compact State License (must be in hand before start).
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
PBDS Assessment: Waived.
Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
Timekeeping and scheduling managed via an online workforce system.
