Technology Expert – Systems Engineer (Nutanix)

• Provision of expert advice and assistance technology watch architectural considerations risk analysis gap analysis applicable standards solution patterns and best practices in the area Systems Infrastructure engineering and virtualized infrastructure (specifically hyperconverged/ Nutanix)
• Provision of technical studies
• Elaboration of design documentation with consultation with stakeholders
• Elaboration of vision documents focused upon Systems components
• Deliver the design installation and configuration of these technologies
• Operate client IT services according to agreed service levels ITSM best practices internal policies and procedures
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level of technical support register and troubleshoot incidents and escalating to external parties
• Creation and testing of standard operational procedures backups restore monitoring etc.
•  Implementing configuring administering monitoring and maintaining the client IT systems to deliver a 24/7 secure reliable and efficient service for client CMS and the whole organization

Qualifications :

Mandatory:

• Bachelors level or three years of higher education or equivalent in professional experience
• Five or more years of professional experience in Systems administration with relevance to the tasks described above.
• Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
• Collaborative and proactive approach with hands on attitude
• Ability to make recommendations and give advice about best practices
• Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment (language and communications skills)
• Capability to speak to and interface with business and technical audiences
• Previous experience as System administrator in a Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions
•  Previous experience in Designing implementing and operating Nutanix Infrastructure
• In-depth knowledge and proven hands-on expertise in the administration of enterprise infrastructure system and datacenters
• Maintaining and monitoring infrastructure with knowledge of standard monitoring and management tools

Desirable:

• General knowledge of networking ICT infrastructure and systems
• Experience as technology expert in a second area of the following list: Security Network
• Expert level certifications in systems/infrastructure design and operations.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices in ICT operations
• Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment
• Proven hands-on experience with other Nutanix solutions and features
• Proven hands on experience with all other Citrix solutions.
• Previous experience IT automation
