Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join QAD. The job will include 70% manual and 30% automation work and gradually will be moved to more of automation in future.
What you will do:
Create Automated Test Suites: Write execute and maintain automated test scripts (unit integration regression functional UI API) using automation frameworks with a primary focus on Selenium and Python.
Test Strategy & Planning: Participate in the development of comprehensive test plans and strategies ensuring adequate test coverage for new features and existing functionalities.
Defect Management: Identify document prioritize and track software defects and inconsistencies collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
Performance & Reliability Testing: Conduct basic performance load and stress testing as well as reliability assessments to ensure applications meet defined benchmarks.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers product managers and other QA engineers to understand requirements define test scenarios and ensure a high-quality product release.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes tools and methodologies.
Qualifications :
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: A minimum of a Bachelors degree in a field related to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) such as Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a similar technical discipline.
Experience: Proven experience of 5 years in designing building and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts.
Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for test automation such as Python or Java.
Testing Methodologies: Solid understanding of software testing methodologies principles and the entire SDLC particularly within Agile/Scrum environments.
API Testing: Experience with API testing (RESTful/SOAP) and tools like Postman.
Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems (SVN Git).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI).
Experience with other test automation frameworks (e.g. Cypress Playwright).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
