We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Sponsors Analyst to join our team in London United this role you will play a crucial part in supporting our financial sponsors origination team focusing on private equity clients and their portfolio companies.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and valuation of companies across various industries
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment decisions
- Prepare detailed presentations and pitch books for client meetings and internal use
- Assist in the execution of leveraged financings
- Perform industry research and market analysis to identify potential lending opportunities
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop investment theses and strategies
- Support the due diligence process for potential transactions
- Maintain and expand relationships with private equity clients and their portfolio companies
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting or a related field
- Proven experience in professional services banking private equity or a similar role
- Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in valuation techniques
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint
- Excellent quantitative and analytical abilities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of private equity and leveraged buyout transactions
- Knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- MBA or relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CFA) are desirable
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required by client needs and project deadlines
