Job Summery:
At Mövenpick Resort Aswan part of the Accor Group we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our guests and colleagues. The Health & Safety Supervisor will support the implementation and monitoring of all occupational health and safety programs ensuring compliance with Accor standards and Egyptian regulations.
The role focuses on promoting a proactive safety culture conducting regular inspections delivering safety training and ensuring that all areas of the hotel operate in accordance with best practices and legal requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures in line with Accor standards and Egyptian labor regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments throughout the hotel to identify and address potential hazards.
- Report investigate and document any accidents incidents or near misses ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Deliver health and safety training for employees (fire safety emergency evacuation first aid awareness and manual handling).
- Ensure that all employees use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and follow safe working practices.
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering and Security teams to ensure preventive measures are applied across the property.
- Maintain updated records of inspections incidents and training sessions.
- Support the emergency response team during drills and ensure readiness of firefighting and first-aid equipment.
- Prepare regular HSE performance reports for hotel management.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement across all departments.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Science Engineering or any related field.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent.
- OSHA certification ( Occupational Health & Safety )
- HACCAP Certifications
- First Aid / Fire Safety certification is an advantage.

- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Health & Safety role preferably within the hospitality industry or a large service organization.
- Previous experience conducting safety inspections or training is desirable
