Job Summary

Including but not limited:

  • Manage and respond to event conference and group accommodation inquiries from direct and third-party clients
  • Prepare and follow up on proposals contracts and action plans to meet client needs
  • Coordinate and host client entertainment site inspections and familiarisation visits
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients suppliers and Accor partners
  • Support the planning and execution of corporate social exhibition and incentive events
  • Upsell hotel services and identify new business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate client data and activity records using Delphi/Opera
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth event delivery
  • Assist with departmental administration including reporting and database management
  • Represent the hotel at meetings trade shows and networking events
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by following and refining sales procedures
  • Undertake occasional evening and weekend shifts as required

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in luxury Hotel Sales Corporate & MICE Conference and Event administration and management Reservations and Business development
  • Understanding of sales process and negotiating skills
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Confident decision maker and advanced research skills
  • Advanced Delphi and Opera skills
  • Able to communication with senior positions within organization
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Extremely well organized and able to plan
  • Problem solving skills
  • Has the aptitude and willingness to undertake further development with Sofitel
