General Summary of Position:
Reporting to the Facilities Information Systems Manager the Facilities Senior Space Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy consistency and usefulness of campus space data across all university facilities. The primary responsibility of the position is to manage the space inventory system coordinate and lead periodic space audits across all campus buildings and serve as a point of contact for departments verifying their space records as well as any reporting and analytics needed.
This role also supports collaboration with campus stakeholders and assists in resolving space-related discrepancies. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail analytical thinking and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. As a member of a small FIS team this position may assist with a variety of other functions including records management systems GIS and software licensing.
